What is “remote-support”? Have you ever wanted something fixed without having to leave your home or office and without having a technician come out on-site? Well, we’ve got a solution for that too. Using some special software, we can log into your computer from our office and see everything on-screen that you can see. Pretty awesome right? This way when a problem occurs, you can just tell us to log in and review the problem as it’s happening. This includes:

  • - Computer troubles
  • - Non-responsive programs or program crashes
  • - Tutoring/consultation
  • - Virus, malware & scareware assessment

So how much does remote support cost? Our standard hourly rate for remote services is simply $65/hour and we bill in 15-minute increments. From our experience, we can tell you that most problems can be solved within 15-30 minutes. Here’s how to start a remote appointment

  • 1. Schedule an appointment (call 805.643.4375 or click the green button below)
  • 2. Click on the Windows icon to download the software (or “run” if prompted)
  • 3. Find the downloaded file on your computer and double-click it to run
  • 4. After clicking “next” a few times, your User ID and Password will appear
  • 5. Call 805.643.4375 and ask for a technician to “log into your PC”
  • 6. Give the technician your User ID and Password

Here’s how to start a remote appointment

  • 1. Schedule an appointment (call 805.643.4375 or click green button below)
  • 2. Click on the Apple icon to download the software
  • 3. Locate the “TeamViewerQS.dmg” file in your downloads folder and open it
  • 4. Your User ID and Password will appear
  • 5. Call 805.643.4375 and ask for a technician to “log into your Mac”
  • 6. Give the technician your User ID and Password
